さて、「HELLOふらプリ」では、お客さまによりいっそう”富良野”を満喫していただきたいという思いから
新富良野プリンスホテルスタッフのオススメスポットをご紹介しています。
今回ご紹介するのは、「富良野チーズ工房」さん。
新富良野プリンスホテル 管理スーパーバイザー（購買担当）の深瀬繁範（ふかせしげのり）が家族と一緒にご案内いたします♪
Some recommendations of places in Furao have been introduced in [HELLO FURAPURI] by Shin Furano Prince Hotel staff.
We will introduce you [Furano Cheese Factory] this time.
Mr.Shigenori Fukase, works as a sales management supervisor, will show you there with his family.
「富良野チーズ工房」さんへは、新富良野プリンスホテルから車でおよそ5分。
時間にゆとりがあり、気候の良い季節にはウォーキングで向かうのもオススメです。
撮影当日は生憎、雨が降っていましたが、たくさんのお客さまがいらっしゃっていました。
天候に左右されず楽しめる施設として、富良野の中でも人気のスポットです。
今回、深瀬一家は「手作り体験工房」で、バター作り体験にチャレンジ！
まずは受付を済ませ、工房へ向かいます。
It takes about 5 minutes by car to get [Furano Cheese Factory] from Shin Furano Prince Hotel. We recommend going there on foot if you have enough time in the warm season.
Even the day we shot photos was rainy, there were lots of customers there.
It is a popular place to visit without caring about weather.
The Fukase family try to make butter at the hand making experience workshop. After finishing the reception, they go to the workshop.
工房に到着したら、手を洗ってエプロンを付け、作り方の説明を聞きます。
そして、さっそくバター作りに取り掛かります。
They listen to the explanation of how to make it as soon as they wear an apron after washing their hands.
Then, start making butter.
生クリームと水の入った大きな瓶をしっかり持って、激しく上下に振ります。
Grip the jar which is heavy cream and water in and shake it up and down.
この作業を続けること10分〜15分。
最初はなかなか目に見える変化がなく、みんな必死になって振ります。
北海道の冬の施設内はとても暖かいので、家族全員が汗をかいて、また振り続けます。
単純な作業なのですが、想像していたよりもなかなか大変！
それぞれがお互いの一生懸命な姿を見て笑顔が溢れる時間でした。
気づくと最初は無かった黄色いバターの粒がいっぱいできています！
Shake the jar continuously for about 10 to15 minutes.
It can’t be seen the difference from the start so they have to work very hard.
The room temperature in winter in Hokkaido is very warm so all the family members started sweating.
It was a simple task but much harder than they expected.
Everybody looked at each other then laughed at them trying their very best.
They realized that the color changed to yellow and got thicker.
「できてる！！！」とみんなの顔が満面の笑みに。
次は、ザルで水洗いし、バター粒をまな板の上に乗せ水分を抜く工程です。
“We did it!” everyone smiled.
Next, scrape out the contents into a sieve and wash out.
Put the fatty solid on the cutting board and squeeze out any more buttermilk.
そしてお好みで塩を入れて練るもよし、無塩バターに仕上げるもよし。
It’s up to you whether you add some salt or not.
最後はバターケースに貼るシールに絵を描いて、オリジナルバターの完成です！

Mr. Masanori Goto, managing director of [Furano Cheese Factory], showed us around.
「こちらは、
チーズやバターを作っている富良野チーズ工房と、
手作り体験ができる手作り体験工房、
本格的ナポリピッツァが食べられるふらのピッツァ工房、
ジェラートをご用意しているアイスミルク工房の
四つの施設で構成されています。
体験は、バター、アイスクリーム、チーズの3種の手作り体験ができます。
それぞれの工程を学びながら体験し、アイスクリームはこちらで召し上がっていただき、
バターとチーズはお持ち帰りいただいています。
どの体験も小さなお子さまから年配の方まで体験していただけますので、安心してお越しください。」
He explained that this factory consists of four facilities which are Furano Cheese Factory making cheese and butter, a hand making experience workshop, Pizza Factory where you can eat authentic pizza and Ice Milk Factory providing gelato. You can experience making butter, ice cream and cheese. As learning the process, you do hand making. Eat ice cream you made here and take butter and cheese home.
Everyone can experience it regardless of age. No need to worry.
