ここ富良野は雄大な山々に囲まれた盆地、盛夏はとても暑くなりますが湿度は低く
お盆をすぎると夜は気温がぐっと下がります。
日によっては、上着がないと寒く感じる夜も・・・

Hello, everybody! It’s been hot recently. How have you been?
It’s surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges here in Furano. It is very hot but low humidity which means you will be able to have a comfortable time during the middle of summer.
In addition, it is going to be cooler after the OBON holidays. (OBON term is from August 13 to 16.)
You might feel cold without wearing a jacket depending on the day.
We recommend you to bring a jacket if you visit Hokkaido in the late of August.

空の旅、モーターバラグライダーのタンデム飛行体験です！

We will show you “MPG Sorachi” this time.
You can experience flying in the sky by the motor paraglider. Ms.Keito Suzuki, who works as the person in charge of guest relations, is going to introduce it.
富良野出身の鈴木は、新富良野プリンスホテルでお客さまをお迎えし始め2年が経ちました。
お越しくださったお客さまお一人おひとりの旅に合ったご案内ができるよう学びを深める日々。

Ms.Suzuki is from Furano. She has been working at Shin Furano Prince Hotel for two years.
She makes an effort for each customer to have the best time during their stay.
She says that she feels extremely happy when she hears customers’ satisfaction such as when they visited her recommended place and they liked it.
そんな鈴木のオススメスポット「MPGそらち」さんは、ホテルからおよそ車で15分ほどの場所に位置します。
ワクワクしていたらすぐに到着したと感じる距離、新富良野プリンスホテルから移動時間が短いのも魅力的です。
“MPG Sorachi” is one of Ms.Suzuki’s recommended spots, which is located 15 minutes away from the hotel by car.
The place is very close to the hotel so you will save your time.
「MPGそらち」さんでのモーターパラグライダー体験は、経験豊富なパイロットと一緒に飛ぶタンデム飛行。
安心して空の旅を楽しむことができます。
“MPG Sorachi '' offers the motor paragliding experience. It is a tandem flight with a professional pirot so you can enjoy it without worry.
まずは受付で書類にサイン、飛び方の動画を見てイメージトレーニングをします。
機材の準備ができたらさっそくフライトです。
ヘルメット、ハーネスを装着、安全確認ができたら掛け声に合わせて目標に向けて走ります。
するとふわっと浮いてそこからはモーターの力で上昇！
みるみるうちに空へと舞い上がります。
First, you sign an application form at the reception and visualize yourself flying in the sky while watching a video. Once we get all the equipment, go for a flight!
After putting on a helmet and harness, we run to a target while making a shout. Then, it is up softly in the air. From there, it floats high with the power of a motor.
天候にもよりますが、およそ300〜400mまで上がっているそう。
時には雲の上まで行けることもあるとのこと。
高く上がったらモーターのエンジンオフ。
ここからはパラグライダーで風に乗り、空中散歩を楽しみます。
Depending on the weather of the day, it will be up to about 300m to 400m. It sometimes goes up above the clouds. When the paraglider is high enough, the pilot turns off the engine. After that, we enjoy walking in the air while riding the wind by the paraglider.
眼下に広がる富良野の景色。
地上から見上げる景色とは全く違う絵が広がります。
天候が良く、雲が少なければ旭川の街まで見えることがあるとか。
いつも通っているあの道を走る車も小さな粒のように見えます。
そして、山の裾野に新富良野プリンスホテルを見ることもできるんですよ♪
Beautiful scenery of Furano spreads under your eyes.
It is totally different from the picture on the ground. You might be able to see Asahikawa city if it’s nice and less clouds. Even cars running on the road look very tiny. Also, you will find Shin Furano Prince Hotel on the mountain foot.

この季節だけにみられる色合い。まるで美瑛のパッチワークの丘のようですね。
また、夏だけでなく、冬は一面の銀世界を独り占めしたような、そんな感覚になる空中遊泳を楽しめます。
A lush, green Furano Basin. Golden wheat field, green onions, rice and potatoes field. It looks like a patchwork hill in Biei.
You can enjoy walking in the air not only in summer but also in winter.
きっと、春も秋も、その季節にだけ見ることができる富良野の景色があるはずです。
準備をして体験の所要時間はおよそ30分程。
風の状況によってはすぐにフライトできないこともあるそうです、少しの余裕を持って訪れてみてください。
富良野の大地を見下ろしながらの空中遊泳。最高の旅の思い出になること間違いなしです！
Each season has different scenery. All of them are surely magnificent.
The time span of the experience is about 30 minutes.
The flight is enforced depending on the weather and wind. Please give yourself plenty of time.
There is no doubt that walking in the air with a bird’ s eye view is going to be the best memory of the trip.
今回案内してくださったのは、「MPGそらち」パイロットの佐藤賢治（さとうけんじ）さん。
Mr. Ken Sato, a pilot from “MPG Sorachi” showed us this time.
「モーターパラグライダーはエンジンを背負って飛び、300〜400mの高さでエンジンを切ります。
そこからは紙飛行機にぶら下がっているような感覚で遊泳を楽しみます。
７、８、９月はグリーンが濃い景色が広がり、穏やかに飛べる季節。特に早めの時間の8時、9時がオススメです。
地上で見ると広い花畑も小さく感じ、十勝や旭川も見渡せます。
モーターパラグライダーは通年体験していただけます。
秋の紅葉は10月半ばからが見頃でしょうか。
冬は川が近いので冷え込んだ日はダイヤモンドダストが発生し、サンピラーを上空から見られることも。
春夏秋冬、四季折々の素晴らしい景色を見ていただくことができます。
そして、何よりも翼を得て飛んでいるような感覚や風を感じて飛んでほしいです！
モーターパラグライダーはフライトできる確率も高く、高さも調節可能です。
アトラクションみたいで楽しかった！

‘Motor paragliding is the flight in which the pilot wears a back-pack motor. The engine is turned off when it is reached from 300m to 400m high.
From there,enjoy flying in the air as if hanging on a paper plane.
You will see lush, green scenery in July, August and September.
I recommend the flight at 8 or 9 in the morning.
Everything is tiny from above. There's a chance to see the Tokachi area and Asahikawa city. We operate throughout the year.
The best time to see autumn leaves is probably in the middle of October.
The location is by the river so the sun pillar may be seen from above if diamond dust occurs in winter. You will enjoy the different scenery of each season. We would like you to feel the wind like a bird above all else.
There is a high probability to fly with a motor paraglider. Also, the flight height can be adjusted.
