It’s already late December which means winter has come.

It is a world of white where trees freeze in the morning even though it does not snow.

We say “SHIBARETANE.” in Hokkaido when it is such a situation.

Try to say this word when you wake up at our hotel.

The temperature around Shin Furano Prince Hotel  is lower than in Furano city. Therefore, there is a high possibility that you will shiver with the cold every morning.

 

 

さて、今シーズンの富良野スキー場は11月27日にオープンしました。

少しずつ積雪量も増え、滑走可能コースが増えています。

Furano Ski Resort opened on November 27 for this season.

The amount of snow as well as ranges of slopes are increasing little by little.

富良野スキー場では、12月24日、25日にイベント「ゲレンデにサンタがやってくる！」を開催。

サンタクロースに出会えたお子さまにプレゼントをお渡しします♪

The event called ‘Santa Claus is coming to ski slopes’ will be held  on December 24 and 25 in Furano Ski Resort. Santa Claus will give a present to children who run into him.

冬のニングルテラスはとってもロマンティック。

冷え込む夜も暖かな雰囲気のライトアップで心までも暖まります♪

ニングルテラスでも12月24日、25日の夜は、いつものライトアップに加え特別にキャンドルランタンの装飾が見られます。

夜はもちろん、夕刻のニングルテラスもオススメです！

How about going for a walk after skiing and having a delicious meal?

Ningle Terrace in winter is a very romantic place to go.

You will be warm both in your body and mind even on a cold night because of warm lighting.

Guess what? You will be able to see Christmas illumination on the nights of December 24 and 25 in Ningle terrace. We recommend visiting there not only at night but also in the late afternoon.

 

 

 

そして、12月31日、大晦日の新富良野プリンスホテルでは、富良野スキー場でカラートーチ滑走をご覧いただけます！

ゲレンデ下では、「サッポロビール　FURANO New Year HANABI 2022」を開催！

カウントダウン・・・年明けの瞬間にあがる花火。

冬の澄み切った夜空に上がる花火は格別です。

Also,you will see color torch gliding in Furano Ski Resort on New Year’s eve. 

‘ Sapporo Beer Furano New Year HANABI 2022’  will be held at the foot of the slopes on that day, too.

Countdown… New Year’s Fireworks.

Fireworks in the winter’s clear night sky are very spectacular. Don’t miss it!

書初め体験や餅つき体験、おしるこサービスなど宿泊者限定のイベントがあります。

富良野神社へ行く初詣バスも運行予定です。

There will be served New Year’s special Sake called ‘OTOSO’ for hotel guests who welcome the new year.  

Moreover, there are some events which are Calligraphy experience, pounding steamed rice to make rice cakes and serving sweet red bean soup ’OSHIRUKO’ only for hotel guests.

Shuttle buses for Furano Shrine will be run.

「Strider Enjoy Cup」at Furano Ski Resort Snow Stage.

 

アメリカ発のペダルの無い二輪車、ランニングバイク『STRIDER』ストライダー。
小さなお子さまの間で大人気の乗り物ですね♪
そのストライダーに専用のスキーアタッチメントを取り付けたスノーストライダーに乗って雪上を走ります！

開催は、2022年1月29日（土）。
対象は、2才〜6才のお子さま。
開催場所は、富良野スキー場内の特設会場です。

参加はエントリーが必要となります！
エントリー期間は、2022年1月8日まで。

冬だけしか体験できないスノーストライダー、家族みんなで小さなレーサーを応援しましょう！

※大会参加のためのストライダー本体および用具の貸出しはございません。

ストライダーやヘルメットの貸出しもご利用いただけますので、初めてのお子さまもぜひチャレンジしてみてください。

STRIDER which is a bicycle without pedals is from the US.

This is a very popular among kids.

You can ride a STRIDER on the snow with ski attachments.

Date: January 29 (Sat), 2022

Participants: Children between 2 years old and 6 years old

Venue: Special site in Furano Ski Resort

Kids need to enter into a contest beforehand if they want to take part in.

The application deadline is January 8, 2022.

SNOW STRIDER is a thing that little kids can only do in winter.

Let’s support your kids with the whole family.

*We are sorry that we don’t lend any striders and tools for participating in a contest.

In fact, kids can ride a snow strider on the regular course.
