～ HELLO ふらプリ 富良野 春 ～ ～ HELLO FURAPURI FURANO SPRING ～

「HELLOふらプリ」、今回は『春の富良野』をお届けします♪
プリンスグランドリゾート富良野の敷地を越えて、この時季にだけ見ることのできる風景を集めました。
Hello everyone!
“Fura Puri” this time would like to report on “Spring in Furano.”
We collected sceneries that can be viewed only in this season and beyond the grounds of the Prince Grand Resort Furano.
富良野の5月、特に美しいのは”花と雪山の共演”ではないでしょうか。
Furano in May, what is especially beautiful is the “joint performance of the flowers and snow mountains.”
東大演習林樹木園の桜。およそ300本の桜の木が並び、毎年GWが終わった頃に春の訪れを演出します。
桜にはたくさんの種類がありますが、富良野で観ることができるのは多くが”エゾヤマザクラ”。
少し濃いピンク色の花を咲かせます。
同時に桜の葉もどんどん成長するので、桜の花を堪能できるのはほんの一瞬です。
The University of Tokyo’s Botanical Forest. Approximately 300 cherry blossom trees line up and show the arrival of spring every year right about after Golden Week.
There are many different types of cherry blossoms, in Furano, the most common is the Ezoyama Zakura. This type’s flower petals are darker in pink.
And its leaves grow very quickly so the time frame to view its blooming is very short.
こちらも華やか、通称”なまこ山”の桜。
上空から観るととても綺麗ですね♪
This splendid cherry blossom is commonly known as the Namakoyama.
It is stunning if you look down from the sky.
なまこ山は、車で登ることも歩いて登ることもできます。
その中には散策道があり、どの季節に行っても森林浴をしながら、ゆったりとした時間を過ごせます。

You can go up the Namakoyama by car and as well as on foot. Here is a walking trail, and in any season, you can experience "forest-bathing" and
enjoy the slow-moving time.
御料地区の”一本桜”も人気のフォトスポット！
The Gorryo area’s "Ippon Zakura" is also a popular photo-taking spot.
そして富良野と言えば、美味しい野菜を生産する農業のまち。
人気の赤肉メロンをはじめ、米、麦、芋、玉ねぎ、トマト、とうきび、葉物野菜・・・その種類は数えきれないほど。
ちょうど今の時季はアスパラガスがとても美味しいです！
And when you think of Furano, you think of a farm city that grows delicious vegetables.
A countless number of produces, beginning from red meat melons, rice, wheat, potato, onion, tomato, corn, and leafy vegetables.
Right now is the seasonable time for delicious asparagus.
野菜を育てる作業は、実は雪深い2月から始まっていますが、4月、5月とどんどん忙しくなります。
In creating the vegetables, it begins in the heavy snow from February, and coming April and May, it becomes busier and busier.
こちらは、雄大な山々を背にした苗の植え付け作業風景。
広大な土地に家族総出で、また、でめんさん（北海道の方言？！パートさんのことです）と一緒に苗を植えていきます。

In this vast land, planting is done with family members or with "demensan" (Hokkaido Dialect meaning part-time workers).
畑に繰り広げられる畝模様。これも春の風物詩の一つです。THE 北海道！な景色ですね。

そしてもう一つ。
水田に写る山々。
One other thing that reminds us of spring is the mountains displayed on the rice fields.
田んぼに水が入り、澱みが落ち着き、風のない日。田植えが始まるまでの晴れの日！
その条件が揃った日には、本当に美しい山の風景を水面に観ることができるのです。
朝焼けや夕焼けが映った時は、息を呑むような美しさ。ぜひ観ていただきたい富良野の風景の一つです。
After the water fills the fields and settles, and when there is no wind, during sunny days before the rice planting begins.
In days when the prerequisites are met, the beautiful reflection of the mountains is shown on the water.
When the sunrise or sunset is displayed on the water, it is surely a breathtaking beauty. A Furano spectacle that must be viewed.
春には動物もたくさん現れます。
こちらは麓郷方面での一枚。
ふと目をやると、丘では鹿が草を食んでいます。
Many animals come out in the spring. A picture of the Rokugo Area. On the hills, you can see deer feeding on grass.
森の中では、鳥の鳴き声やドラミングも賑やかに♪
the forest, you can hear birds lively chirping and drumming.
先日、エゾモモンガにも出会いました。
キタキツネが歩いている姿もよく見かけます。
今回ご案内したのは富良野の春はほんの一部。
ラベンダーの花はまだ咲きませんが、新芽をグングン伸ばしています。
華やかな花以外にも、自然の樹々が織りなす緑のグラデーションがどんどん美しく変わる春から初夏。
ひとつひとつを静かにゆっくり、じっくり堪能していただける季節でもあります。
The other day, we saw an Ezo Momonga flying squirrel. And it's quite common to see a fox walking.
What we introduced today is only one portion of Furano’s Spring. Lavenders do not bloom at this time but the buds surely are growing.
Other than the gorgeous flowers, from spring to the beginning of summer the forest of trees naturally show a beautiful transformation of green color.
A season that also lets you quietly and slowly experience each and everything.
もちろん富良野だけではなく、中富良野町、上富良野町、美瑛やその周辺には、それぞれ特別の景色があります。
ゆっくりと景色だけを楽しむ旅も素敵ですね♪
